Job Description
Leads large cross functional, multi-site programs for the technology transfer of a product from one manufacturing location or scale to another.
Job Requirements
Leads cross-functional, multi-site teams, in technology transfer, new product introduction and business integration of new products.
Translates customer needs into defined, approved project scope statements; works with stakeholders to quantify resource requirements.
Establishes detailed project plan, drives execution of project tasks in line with agreed scope and time lines
Follows and drives the requirements in the Technical Transfer policies and S.O.P’s
Establishes and executes the communication plan for the project and facilitates information flow between all stakeholders and sites.
Monitors project progress, manages project risks; minimises impact to the program or wider site.
Escalates risks as appropriate to site senior management team & global product as appropriate.
Acts as site / project representative to external stakeholders.
Identifies opportunities for the site development and drives evaluation of the opportunity within the site.
Drives the preparation and adherence to Project budget and forecast submission.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent.
Ideally have attained further qualifications e.g. M.Sc.
+10 years in biopharma industry, +4 years in a program lead role.
Have program leadership experience of technical transfer.
A proven track record in the ability to transfer goals and objectives into measurable plans.
Ability to identify gaps/risks and put appropriate remediation plans in place
Strong process and manufacturing background
Strong analysis and reporting. Ability to lead/facilitate problem solving.
Ideally have direct experience of Oral Dose and or Fill Finish.
Schedule development
Excellent project management skills.
